Ingredients
- Main Ingredients:
- 300g pork neck meat
- 1/2 block tofu
- 1 potato
- 1/2 onion
- 1/2 zucchini
- 1 green onion
- 2 spicy green chili peppers
- 1 red chili pepper
- 5 cups broth
- 1/2 tablespoon cooking oil
- 4 teaspoons dashida (Korean soup stock powder)
- Seasoning Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cooking wine
- 4 tablespoons minced onion
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
Cooking Steps
- Prepare Pork:
- Cut the pork neck meat into bite-sized pieces.
- Add seasoning and marinate for 30 minutes.
- Prepare Ingredients:
- Dice the tofu into cubes.
- Cut the potato and onion into small squares.
- Cut the zucchini into half-moon slices.
- Slice the green onion, spicy green chili peppers, and red chili pepper at a diagonal.
- Cooking:
- Add cooking oil to a pot.
- Stir-fry the marinated pork and potatoes, then add the broth and bring to a boil.
- When Pork is Cooked:
- Add tofu, onion, zucchini, green onion, and chili peppers in order and let it boil.
- Add dashida and simmer briefly; if it tastes bland, adjust seasoning with salt.

- If you stir-fry the pork in cooking oil first, the pork fat comes out, giving the stew a richer and more savory flavor.
